Methodology, Policies and Development of Online Research

For ages translations have been made and published. The standards about the way this should be done, are fully developed  in this domain. The Digital Paul Scholten Project intends that the ‘book’ with the English translation of the General Part conforms to these standards. In this sense there are no new questions or problems concerning the methodology of the project.
What is new, is the fact that the translation will be made as a collaborative, interactive researchproject on the internet in stead of being the solitary job of a dedicated scholar, who spends many years on it. This online research model brings new questions and new problems. On these pages DPSP will share its own experiences and will present the solutions which it developed and the decisions it made, to elicit comments by others.
